Scientists say that the mini moon won't be in Earth's orbit for too long

Welp, it looks like Earth won’t be getting an extra moon anytime soon. According to the scientists over at Phys.org , the mini moon that astronomers Theodore Pruyne and Kacepr Wierzchos first spotted in Earth’s orbit won’t be staying there for too long due to the gravitational tug of war that our moon and the sun play with the mini moons that come into Earth’s orbit.

The mini moons hang around Earth’s orbit for “a few years” before they go on their merry way to their own orbit around the sun. I don’t know about y’all, but I really think this is not cool.

There’s Jupiter with its big red spot and hot, lava gases with 63 moons. Saturn and all of its rings has 61 moons. Uranus is orbiting around with 27 moons, while Neptune is hanging out with its 13 moons and Mars is just like, "eh," with its 2 moons. The only planets that have less moons than ours does are Mercury and Earth's twin, Venus, which have no moons. And oh yeah, let’s not forget sometime planet, Pluto, with its 2 moons.

It sucks big time that we have less moons than Pluto and it’s not even a planet, now.
